Who is it for?
It is designed for CCTV installers, security consultants, system integrators, architects, engineers, camera manufacturers, and enterprise security teams.
What can I design?
Depending on available features, users can upload floor plans, create walls and rooms, place cameras, adjust camera parameters, review field of view and DORI coverage, examine blind spots, plan network elements, simulate coverage, and prepare reports.
Is CCTV Design Tool free?
Eligible new users may receive free access for their first 12 months under the introductory promotion. Fair-use limits, eligibility requirements, feature exclusions, and Promotional Offer Terms apply.
When does the 12-month period begin?
Unless the registration page says otherwise, it begins when the eligible account is successfully registered or activated.
Will I be automatically charged after 12 months?
No paid subscription should begin unless you are clearly informed of the price, select a paid plan, and provide the required payment authorization.
Are all features included?
Not necessarily. Some enterprise services, custom integrations, dedicated hosting, consulting, third-party services, or future premium features may be excluded.
Are there usage limits?
Reasonable fair-use limits may apply to project storage, uploaded files, automated processing, wall detection, exports, reports, collaboration, or other resource-intensive features.
Is wall detection always accurate?
No. Automated wall detection depends on drawing quality and complexity. Users must review and correct detected geometry before relying on it.
Does the platform guarantee complete CCTV coverage?
No. The platform assists with planning and visualization. Real performance depends on the site, equipment, lighting, installation, configuration, compression, network, storage, and other environmental factors.
Does it replace a CCTV consultant or site survey?
No. Users remain responsible for site surveys, design validation, legal compliance, privacy assessments, manufacturer verification, installation, testing, and approval.
Can I upload confidential floor plans?
Upload only information you are authorized to process. Avoid classified, restricted, or unnecessary sensitive information. Review the Privacy Policy and your organization’s security requirements before uploading sensitive projects.
